What to Expect
Service Style
Our services are simple. We pray, we read the Scriptures, we sing songs with piano accompaniment, and we give attention to the preaching of the Word. Most would likely refer to it as more traditional. We believe that God is honored in this way and that he meets with us when we worship him in spirit and in truth.
What to Wear
At ERBC, most of our church family tends to wear your typical “Sunday Best” with slacks, blouses, or dresses for the ladies and collared shirts and slacks for the men. And if you prefer suit and tie, don’t worry, you won’t be alone. But please always dress with a concern to be modest and non-distracting to others as we worship God together.
Nursery for Children
We provide a nursery for children under 3 for all Sunday services. For children that are still learning to sit in the service, we also have a child training room available, though space it limited.
Doctrine
We regard the Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689 as an excellent, though not inspired, expression of the teaching of God’s Word. We have adopted this historic document as our church’s confession of faith.
