In addition to our regular ministries, we have a number of special events each year. These events are intended to deepen our unity and foster greater love between us. We also wish to provide more opportunities for our friends and family and fellow believers from other churches to participate in the life of our church and share in our joy with us.<\/p>\n
Pacific Northwest Retreat – September 4 -7, 2026! We are thrilled that our conference speaker this year will be George McDearmon, a member of Reformed Baptist Church of Richmond. He will be addressing us on the important topic of An All Round, God-Honoring Prosperity<\/strong>. <\/p>\n In addition to these heartwarming messages from God\u2019s Word, participants can expect rich, spiritual discussion times, as well as a Saturday afternoon excursion with a picnic lunch. On Saturday evening, we will have a fellowship dinner for all participants. We will then participate in an all-church lunch on Sunday, and a bonfire (fire bans permitting) and hymn-sing on Sunday evening. The retreat will culminate on Monday afternoon. <\/p>\n Cost: Attendees will be housed in homes of ERBC Church families on a first-come, first-served basis. Housing is limited, and we encourage participants to sign up early here<\/a>. After housing slots are filled, we will direct participants to several local hotels at their own expense. <\/p>\n Cost includes: All food, lodging (for those housed with church families), sight-seeing admission, including transportation to and from the Saturday excursion. We will do our best to pick up at SeaTac Airport and return people there on Monday. <\/p>\n Please note: Housing is for the duration of Retreat. \n<\/strong>We are excited to announce that we will again be hosting our annual conference for Reformed Baptist singles. Our 6th Pacific Northwest Retreat<\/strong> will take place in scenic Seattle, Washington from Friday, September 4, 2026 to Monday, September 7, 2026. <\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>In the spring of each year, we have a retreat for married couples. The retreat is open to all couples who wish to come and be instructed and encouraged in their marriages by what the Bible has to say concerning the blessings and responsibilities of the husband and wife relationship. \nThe ladies pick a local hotel and spend the night together enjoying prayer, devotional times, and sweet fellowship.<\/p>\n
\nOn Easter Sunday, we enjoy a special brunch together. It’s a great opportunity for fellowship and to witness to others as we invite our friends and relatives.<\/p>\n
\nThis is the big chance for everyone to display their talents (or their decided lack thereof). The talent night is always lots of fun. We enjoy skits, singing, musical instruments, story telling, poems, quoting scripture from memory, and other “talents” that the Lord has blessed us with.<\/p>\n
\nThe mothers and daughters share a special lunch together, including a devotional message by one of the ladies.<\/p>\n
\nFor all the baseball fans or just those who like to eat peanuts and throw the shells on the floor. We reserve a block of seats together and pray for good weather.<\/p>\n
\nWe celebrate Independence Day together with a big picnic at the church building. There are various games, great picnic food, lots of red white and blue deserts, and (almost always) a big water-gun fight where most of the kids get soaked!<\/p>\n
\nWe pack up our tents and s’more fixins and head for one of the great local Washington campgrounds for two days and two nights of sitting by the fire, singing hymns, fishing, playing games, and everything else that makes camping so much fun. The camping trip is always a wonderful time, well except for the year it started pouring down rain.<\/p>\n
\nWe meet to play various board games (everyone brings their favorites) and card games. We also have ping pong and air hockey. And of course there are lots of great snacks to munch on while we play.<\/p>\n
\nThe Christmas fellowship is for adults and older teens. We enjoy singing hymns, eating holiday goodies, and a little gift exchange.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
