Pastor Dewey Dovel

Dewey Dovel was raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth (TX) area, is happily married to Beall, and is a proud father of two daughters.

Dewey played college baseball at Western Texas College, receiving an Associate of Arts in General Studies. Dewey would continue as a student-athlete at The Master’s University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries. He then went on to acquire a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from The Master’s University, a Master of Theology in Historical Theology from Campbellsville University, and a Doctor of Educational Ministry in Christian Apologetics from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently in the process of obtaining certification with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), and has received further biblical counseling education through Soul Care Consulting.

In addition to serving as a Pastor ERBC, Dewey remains actively involved with Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary as a podcast Co-Host, a Teacher Assistant for various courses, and a Visiting Lecturer. He likewise serves as a Visiting Lecturer for The Expositors Institute of First Baptist Church- Puxico (MO), and as a Fellow for Savoring the Savior Books.

Pastor Rob Price

Pastor Rob and his wife Joanna (Jo) first came to ERBC in December of 1996. They weren’t Christians at that time, but after about 6 months of sitting under the faithful preaching and teaching of God’s Word, they both came to fully trust Christ as Savior.

Rob and Jo have been blessed by God with three children, now adults. Rob was installed as a deacon in June of 2003 and served in that office for 18 years until September of 2020 when he was installed as elder.
