In the spring of each year, Emmanuel Reformed Baptist Church is host to a retreat for married couples. The retreat is open to all married couples who wish to come and be instructed and encouraged in their marriages by what the Bible has to say concerning the blessings and responsibilities of the husband-and-wife relationship.

The retreat is also a wonderful opportunity to spend time alone together as well as to enjoy fellowship with other couples.

This year’s retreat will take place Friday and Saturday May 1st and 2nd in the beautiful little Bavarian village of Leavenworth, WA.  

We will meet at the First Baptist Church of Leavenworth, located right across the street from the main downtown area. MAP

The first session begins Friday at 7pm. If you can, arrive in Leavenworth early and visit the village ahead of time. The second session is Saturday at 10:30am and the final session is at noon.

Our speaker this year is Pastor Alan Dunn of Grace Covenant Baptist Church in Flemington, NJ.

Pastor Dunn and his wife Patricia were married in 1977 and have raised four children. Pastor Dunn entered the pastoral ministry in 1982 and has served Christ at Grace Covenant Baptist Church since its inception in 1985.

The title for this year’s messages will be “Gospel Intimacy in a Godly Marriage.”
