In the spring of each year, Emmanuel Reformed Baptist Church is host to a retreat for married couples. The retreat is open to all married couples who wish to come and be instructed and encouraged in their marriages by what the Bible has to say concerning the blessings and responsibilities of the husband-and-wife relationship.

The retreat is also a wonderful opportunity to spend time alone together as well as to enjoy fellowship with other couples.

This year’s retreat has already taken place. It was held May 3rd and 4th in the beautiful little Bavarian village of Leavenworth, WA.  

We will met at the First Baptist Church of Leavenworth, located right across the street from the main downtown area. MAP

We were blessed to have Pastor Steve Hofmaier as our speaker this year. Steve has been married to Carol for 40 years. God has blessed them with two children and two grandchildren.

For 34 years Pastor Hofmaier labored in planting a church in metro Manila (Moonwalk Community Bible Church), and subsequently aided in planting several other churches throughout the Philippine Islands. Then in 2018, Steve and Carol returned to their home church at Trinity Baptist Church, Montville New Jersey, USA where he continues to serve as one of their pastors.
